About me
First, I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome you to my practice. If you've landed on this page, you might be wondering about who I am and how I can help.
My education includes an undergraduate degree from the University of Windsor in Psychology and Sociology, a diploma in Behavioural Science Technology from George Brown College in Toronto, and a masters degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
I'm a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and I specialize in individual psychotherapy treatment for adults. I've worked and volunteered in crisis response roles in the community; forensic psychiatric treatment settings; day programs and community-based settings for autistic adults and individuals with traumatic or acquired brain injuries; and in a private practice setting focused broadly on assessing and treating mental health disorders.
I would primarily consider myself to be a trauma-focused therapist who specializes in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and EMDR therapy. My therapeutic approach utilizes evidence-based practices, compassion, and collaboration to formulate and implement an effective treatment plan for you.
Contact me today and we can discuss your concerns and goals for therapy. I look forward to hearing from you and having the opportunity to work with you.
